If you are interested in a Chevrolet vehicle and are wondering what it can offer you in terms of connected services, the MyChevrolet app is the place to get the answers. This can be downloaded with an iPhone or Android phone. Once your device is connected to the vehicle, you're good to go and you can take advantage of what it offers.

The latter's services can be grouped into four main categories. Here they are, with in essence what each offers.

Remote access

We are talking about functions that allow you to start or stop your vehicle remotely, just like locking it or vice versa. It is also possible to locate the latter or activate the headlights or the horn, in order to find it in a parking lot. The app even allows you to check your fuel, oil and tire pressure from the comfort of your own home.

Also included in this category are navigation routes that you can send directly to your car via your phone.

Vehicle management

In the same vein, the section reserved for the management of the vehicle makes it possible to plan maintenance services in collaboration with the dealership and to have access to recalls of which our vehicle could be the object. You can also manage Internet access and take advantage of the owner's manual online for consultation.

Towing

For those called upon to tow, the MyChevrolet app is absolutely awesome. Among other things, it allows you to perform a remote test to see if everything works on the side of the headlights, lights, indicators and brake lights. It is also possible to calculate the weight of what we are towing and add it to that of our vehicle to see if we are respecting the capacities. With some models, the system goes a step further by managing a host of cameras.

Electric vehicles

Finally, for owners of electric vehicles, a function allows us to manage our autonomy according to the routes taken. We can easily find recharging stations, have a route suggested that will allow us to maximize range, etc. Ideal for reducing stress in fairer autonomy situations.
