Position: Technical Advisor

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position type: Permanent

Salary: Between $60,000 and $80,000 (depending on skills)

Language(s) spoken: French, (English an asset)

The technical advisor is the after-sales service contact person for all our customers. Responsible for ensuring efficient customer service by ensuring appointments are made in addition to responding to customers coming to the service department. The advisor must support and collaborate closely with the technicians to ensure the quality of the repairs.



Main tasks of a technical advisor

  • Manage phone calls, emails and customer requests related to the workshop
  • Coordinate priorities when making appointments
  • Offer maintenance recommended by the manufacturer according to the age and mileage of the vehicle
  • Greet customers courteously and open and close repair orders according to established standards
  • Transmit relevant information between customers and the mechanical workshop
  • Explain the nature of the work performed and all costs to clients
  • Ensure high quality customer service by responding to customer questions and concerns.


Skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems (an asset)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, at the counter and over the phone
  • Great sense of organization and task planning
  • Analytical mind and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal, smiling with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to put people at ease
  • Professionalism
  • Aptitude for teamwork
